Based in Exeter, Exe Nordic Walking offers guided Nordic walking sessions, wellbeing walks and outdoor fitness experiences in some of Devon’s beautiful green and blue spaces.
Led by qualified instructor Sue Holden, Exe Nordic Walking combines movement, nature and community, helping people improve fitness and wellbeing while spending more time outdoors. Walks take place in locations across Exeter and East Devon, including routes along the River Exe and estuary with wide open views and changing seasonal landscapes.
Nordic walking uses specially designed poles to create a full-body walking workout, supporting posture, balance, strength and cardiovascular fitness while reducing pressure on joints. Sessions are suitable for a range of ages and abilities, with beginner workshops, wellbeing walks and regular group walks available.
Experiences include:
• Learn to Nordic Walk courses
• Weekly group walks
• Sensory wellbeing walks
• Riverside and estuary walks
• One-to-one sessions

Exe Nordic Walking also works with local organisations and community groups across Devon, supporting outdoor movement, connection and wellbeing through accessible walking experiences in nature.
